Wheel-lift towing lifts one end and rolls the vehicle on its other wheels. A flatbed carries the whole vehicle, which avoids wear on the drivetrain and is the better choice for all-wheel-drive vehicles, low cars, and vehicles with damaged wheels or suspension.
